Wyndham Rewards has launched its fifth annual Member Month, featuring five weeks of exclusive member-only deals. Each Wednesday during this promotion period, Wyndham will reveal a new offer for members.
The first week’s promotion is particularly generous, allowing members to earn up to 22,500 bonus points for qualifying stays.
Week One Promotion
To kick off Member Month 2025, Wyndham Rewards members can earn 7,500 bonus points for every two qualifying nights at participating properties. You can use this offer twice, meaning four nights will net you 15,000 bonus points in total.
Registration is required before booking your stay. After registering, book your qualifying stays by May 9 and complete them by June 16, 2025. Your nights don’t need to be consecutive – you can book two separate stays or combine them into longer stays as needed.
Wyndham Rewards Visa cardmembers receive an extra incentive – an additional 7,500 bonus points when you stay at least two nights and pay with your eligible card. This card bonus can only be earned once, potentially boosting your total earnings to 22,500 bonus points.
Remember that stays in Taiwan and China (including Hong Kong and Macau) don’t qualify for this promotion. Nights booked with points or free night certificates also won’t count toward the required stays.
Expect to see your bonus points posted to your account within two to eight weeks after completing your qualifying stays.
Redeem Wyndham Rewards Points
Wyndham Rewards offers a variety of redemption options, but using points for free hotel stays typically provides the best value. The program has a straightforward three-tier award chart, with nights costing 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points depending on the property. This simplicity makes it easy to plan and budget for reward stays. For maximum value, look for high-end properties or book during peak travel times when cash rates are elevated. The 7,500-point tier can be particularly useful for road trips, offering budget-friendly stays along major routes. At the 15,000-point level, you’ll find appealing options like the Club Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort. The top 30,000-point tier includes upscale hotels in major cities, such as The New Yorker in Manhattan. If you’re short on points, consider Wyndham’s “Go Fast” option, which allows you to combine points and cash for discounted stays. This can help stretch your points further, especially for longer trips. An intriguing alternative is using points for Vacasa vacation rentals. At 15,000 points per bedroom per night, this can offer excellent value, particularly for larger properties. However, availability can be limited, and bookings must be made by phone.
The Verdict
Wyndham’s first week promotion offers good value with the potential to earn up to 22,500 bonus points for qualifying stays completed by June 16.
The points earned can be used for free nights across Wyndham’s portfolio, with varying redemption rates based on property category.
