Wyndham Rewards points will expire after 18 months of account inactivity, and four years after being earned, regardless of account activity.

It’s quite easy to lose track of two expiration dates, especially if you’ve also signed up to multiple loyalty programs.

In this article, we’ll discuss everything you need to know about Wyndham’s rules and policies about points, as well as ways on how to keep Wyndham points from expiring.

How To Check Your Wyndham Points Expiration Date

If you want to check when your Wyndham points will expire, log in to your Wyndham Rewards account and click on My Activity > Notifications.

You’ll see the total number of points you have, along with its expiration date on the left-hand side of the page.

The page will only display the 4-year expiration date, so you have to manually track the 18-month expiration date of your points.

How To Keep Wyndham Points From Expiring

Members can reset the 18-month clock of their points if they have any qualifying activity in their accounts. However, points will expire after 4 years regardless of account activity.

According to Wyndham rewards’ terms and conditions, an “Account Activity” is any activity that changes the points balance of the account holder (earning, redeeming or transferring points). Stays posted to a member’s account that do not earn points also count.

Here are some examples of qualifying activities that will keep your Wyndham points from expiring.

1. Stay At Wyndham Hotels & Brands
