Verizon Visa Welcome Bonus

The Verizon Visa Card by Synchrony Bank offers a $100 statement credit after making a single purchase on the card within the first 90 days.

You could essentially go buy a coffee (or anything) within the first 90 days, and you would get $100.

Earning Rewards

The Verizon Visa card earns cash back at the following rates:

  • 4% on grocery store & gas purchases
  • 3% on dining purchases, including takeout and delivery
  • 2% on Verizon purchases (including monthly wireless bill)

4% cash back on grocery stores and gas purchases, plus 3% on dining, is very competitive, especially for a no-annual-fee card.

Plus, this is the only credit card eligible for Verizon’s Auto Pay discount.

Redeeming Rewards

The Verizon Visa’s rewards are Verizon Dollars, which can be used to:

  • Pay your Verizon wireless bill
  • Book travel
  • Buy gift cards
  • To purchase new Verizon devices
  • To pay the remaining balance on a wireless device
  • To purchase a Verizon accessory
