United Club Card Benefits with United

United Club Membership– You and your travel companions have access to 45+ United Club locations and participating Star Allainces lounges when flying on United or a Star Alliance airline.

  • Authorized users do not get access to United Club lounges, unlike the Citi AAdvantage Executive card.
  • To find Star Alliance lounges, visit their (1) Lounge Finder, (2) select “Filters”, (3) choose United Club under “Paid Membership Card” and (4) select your airport.

Two Free Checked Bags– Free first and second checked bag for you and one person on the same ticket when you purchase your ticket with the United Club card.

Priority Access- Priority boarding, priority check-in, priority security, and priority baggage handling.

Eligible for Upgrades on Award Flights- Premier elite members are eligible for upgrades on award tickets on United flights. Without the card, Premier members are only eligible for cash tickets.

Increased Award Space United Club and United Explorer credit cardholders have access to increased award space on United Airlines flights. 

25% Back on United– Cardholders get a 25% statement credit on purchases of food, beverages, and Wi-Fi on United Airlines flights. 

Travel and Purchase Protections

Hertz President’s Circle Status– On of the top perks of the United Club card is Hertz President Circle elite status, which is Hertz’s top tier. With this status, you can grab any car in the President Circle aisle when you book an immediate car or higher. You can easily register for the status upgrade online.

Primary Rental Car Insurance– This valuable coverage pays for any damage to the rental car when you pay using your United Club credit card.  

Trip Delay Insurance– This coverage covers any hotel, food, or transportation up to $500 per passenger in the event that your flight is delayed overnight or 12-hours.

Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check Fee Credit– This card will reimburse you for the Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee every four years. If you already have one of them, you could always pay for it for a family or friend.

Baggage Delay Insurance– In the event that your bag is delayed for more than 6 hours, you can seek reimbursement of up to $100 a day for up to 3 days.

Lost Luggage Reimbursement If any airline loses or damages you or your immediate family’s bag, Chase will reimburse you up to $3,000 per passenger.

Trip Cancellation Insurance– If your trip is canceled or cut short by sickness, severe weather, and other covered situations, you can be reimbursed up to $10,000 per person and $20,000 per trip for your pre-paid, non-refundable travel expenses, including passenger fares, tours, and hotels.

120-day Purchase Protection– This covers any damage or theft to items you bought within the 120 days of purchase up to $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per year.

Return Protection– This coverage reimburses you for items that a store won’t take back within 90 days of purchase and up to $500 per item.

Extended Warranty– This benefit extends the U.S. manufactuer’s warranty by an additional year.

No Foreign Transaction Fees– This card saves you 3% on foreign transactions compared with cards with foreign transaction fees.
