Earning Sonesta Travel Pass Points
There are three ways you can earn Sonesta Travel Pass Points:
Hotel Stays
Sonesta’s loyalty program allows you to earn points on each stay at participating properties. You’ll receive 10 points per dollar spent on eligible room rates, excluding taxes and fees, with an additional tier bonus multiplier depending on your current status. However, at Sonesta Simply Suites hotels, you’ll earn 5 points per dollar instead of 10.
While Sonesta has over a thousand properties, only stays at select brands in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and St. Maarten qualify for points.
You can accumulate points for your room and up to two additional rooms booked under your name and loyalty number, with a maximum of 100,000 points per room per stay. Although you can earn points for up to three rooms per stay, you’ll only receive one night’s credit towards your tier status if you’re qualifying based on the number of nights rather than points.
Events, Meetings, and Weddings
Sonesta offers several promotions that enable you to accumulate extra points when you host meetings and events at their properties.
For starters, booking a group rate for 30 or more room nights (calculated by multiplying the number of rooms by the number of nights) will earn you a bonus of 50,000 points. If you book between 15 and 29 room nights, you’ll receive 25,000 bonus points.
When you plan your wedding through Sonesta Travel Pass, you’ll earn 10 points per dollar spent, up to a maximum of 150,000 points. Additionally, you can earn up to 250,000 bonus points, depending on the amount you spend on catering services for your wedding.
