Priority Pass is popularly known as a lounge network, but did you know that it also partners with restaurants?

There are several Priority Pass restaurants located both in the U.S. and internationally. They work just like lounges – you present your membership card and you get to dine for free.

Today, we’ll explore the world of Priority Pass restaurants, including their locations, access policies, and more.

What are Priority Pass Restaurants?

Priority Pass restaurants are dining establishments located within airport terminals that participate in the Priority Pass program.

Just like Priority Pass Lounges, these restaurants have partnered with Priority Pass to offer a credit of $28-30 to cover the cost of food and drinks.

How to Access Priority Pass Restaurants

You’ll automatically gain access to all participating Priority Pass restaurants and lounges if you have an active Priority Pass membership.

Getting a Priority Pass membership can be done in two ways: purchasing it directly or acquiring an eligible credit card that includes it as a benefit.

Purchase A Membership

There are three types of Priority Pass memberships you can purchase:

  • Standard ($99/year): $35 per member visit; $35 per guest visit
  • Standard Plus ($329/year): 10 free visits, then $35 per succeeding visit; $35 per guest visit Meanwhile,
  • Prestige ($495/year): Unlimited free member visits; $35 per guest visit

Choosing the right membership will depend on your travel frequency and the availability of participating lounges and restaurants at airports you frequently visit.

Eligible Credit Cards

Several credit cards offer a complimentary Priority Pass membership. However, memberships issued through American Express and Capital One cards no longer offer access to Priority Pass restaurants.

The only cards that still offer complimentary access to Priority Pass restaurants are:

How to Use Your Priority Pass Restaurant Benefits

You need to activate your Priority Pass membership on your eligible credit card account first. You’ll get a digital card and a physical card in the mail after activation.

Once you log in to the Priority Pass website, you’ll see the list of participating Priority Pass restaurants, access hours, locations, and conditions. Amex and Capital One card holders won’t be able to see this list.

At the restaurant, just show your membership card to the host. Some restaurants offer unlimited food and beverage, while some only offer a dining credit. The dining credit amount will depend on the restaurant, but it’s usually between $28-$30 per guest.

For example, Dim Sum Emperors offers unlimited dining, while the Corona Beach House restaurant only offers a $30 credit.

If you spend beyond your allowed dining credit, you’ll have to pay for the excess amount. Meanwhile, if there are any unused credit, it will not be refunded.

Guest Access Policies at Priority Pass Restaurants

Guests can dine for free at Priority Pass restaurants but each restaurant will have a different policy.

As you can see below, some restaurants only allow one guest, and they’ll also receive the same benefit as the primary member.

The Verdict

Priority Pass restaurants give travelers access to a variety of excellent airport restaurants around the world.

I know most travelers would just prefer eating at a Priority Pass lounge, but there will always be those moments when you’re craving something else other than lounge food.

If you have long layovers and want to grab a quick bite, Priority Pass restaurants can take care of that.

The best way to maximize this benefit is to get a Priority Pass membership through the Ccard_name (review) since it gives you free food credits whenever you eat at a participating restaurant. Plus, the card earns points toward airfare and hotels.

So, next time you’re at an airport, take advantage of Priority Pass and indulge in a delightful culinary journey. Bon appétit and safe travels!
