No Annual Fee with GM Rewards Card
The My GM Rewards card has no annual fee, no cap on rewards you can earn, and the points don’t expire as long as you keep the card open.
Earning Points with GM Rewards Card
The My GM Rewards card earns:
- 7x Points per dollar spent at GM, which includes eligible purchases include service, parts and accessories purchased at participating My GM Rewards Card dealerships or online.
- 4x Points per dollar spent on all other eligible purchases, outside purchases at GM.
Redeeming Points with GM Rewards Card
My GM Rewards points can be redeemed for eligible GM purchases at 1 cent per point or a much lower rate of 0.25 cents per point for gift cards.

Cardmembers can redeem up to 100,000 points per year for $250 in gift cards per calendar year.
This is not a great value at 0.25 cents per point, so I suggest you avoid this option.

Cardmembers can activate an offer to receive a $100 statement credit when they spend $1,500 in fuel purchases at eligible gas stations per calendar year.

No Foreign Transaction Fees
This card has no foreign transaction fees on purchases outside the U.S., which is helpful if you travel internationally to help you avoid paying a 3% fee on those international purchases.
