The card_name offered by Marcus by Goldman Sachs is a good option for loyal customers of GM.
This no-annual-fee card earns 7x points for GM purchases, 4x points for all other purchases and offers benefits like no foreign transaction fees and $150 in annual credits.
We have a lot to cover, so let’s dive right in.
0% Intro APR
This card offers 0% Intro purchase APR for the first 12 months, after that reg_apr,reg_apr_type.
This can be a good deal if you pay off the full balance at the end of the 12 months.
No Annual Fee
The My GM Rewards card has no annual fee, no cap on rewards you can earn, and the points don’t expire as long as you keep the card open.
The My GM Rewards card earns:
- 7x Points per dollar spent at GM, which includes eligible purchases include service, parts and accessories purchased at participating My GM Rewards Card dealerships or online.
- 4x Points per dollar spent on all other eligible purchases, outside purchases at GM.
My GM Rewards points can be redeemed for eligible GM purchases at 1 cent per point or a much lower rate of 0.25 cents per point for gift cards.
New or Leased Vehicles (1 Cent Per Point)
You can redeem an unlimited amount of points towards a new vehicle or leased vehicle at a rate of 1 cent per point.
For example, you could redeem 100,000 points for $1,000 off your new GM car.
Pre-Owned Vehicles (1 Cent Per Point)
Cardmembers can redeem up to $1,000 in points (100,000 points= $1,000 value) per calendar year toward eligible Certified Pre-Owned GM vehicles.
Points may not be used with GM Fleet vehicle incentive programs, some other offers, the GM Employee Discount Program, GM Company-Owned Vehicle Discount or GM Supplier Discount Program
GM Service, Parts, Acessories, etc. (1 Cent Per Point)
Cardmembers are eligible to redeem toward qualifying GM purchases, including:
- Customer-paid Certified Service, parts, and accessories purchased at an authorized GM dealership or online.
- Eligible GM subscription services, including most OnStar and Connected Services plans, and SiriusXM subscriptions.
- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Protection Plans.
Gift Cards (0.25 Cents Per Point)

This is not a great value at 0.25 cents per point, so I suggest you avoid this option.

The My GM Rewards card is worth it if you know you plan on purchasing a GM vehicle or will be spending money at an eligible GM Dealership.
