Lowe's Business Card Benefits
5% Lowe’s Discount– Lowe’s cardholders get a 5% discount off eligible items and orders when using the card. However, the 5% discount cannot be used on gift cards or with most other discounts.
Lowe’s ProServices– The Lowe’s American Express gets you ProServices, which gives you access to discounted delivery, bulk rate pricing, and a dedicated ProServices team member to help with your buying needs.
Rental Car Insurance– The Lowe’s card offers secondary rental car insurance when you use the card to pay for your car rental. Secondary insurance pays for what your car insurance does not pay for.
Purchase Protection– Purchases are covered from damage or theft for up to 90 days for a maximum of $1,000 per item and $50,000 per calendar year.
Extended Warranty– The original manufacturer’s warranty can be extended up to an additional year on warranties of five years or less.
Amex Offers– This card, like all other American Express cards, has access to Amex Offers, which are special discounts at all different types of merchants, such as a $10 statement credit for spending $25.

The Verdict
The Lowe’s card is a good deal for Lowe’s purchases because you earn a 5% discount plus 2x points (equivalent to 2% cashback).
The disadvantages of the Lowe’s card are that it charges a 2.7% foreign transaction fee for any transaction outside the U.S. and 1x points (or 1% cashback) outside of the bonus categories is uncompetitive.
You would be better off in non-bonus categories with the American Express Blue Business Plus or the Chase Ink Unlimited.
