When using points for JetBlue’s Mint business class, you can expect a lower value of 1.10 cents per point based on our data on the flight prices of over 15 Mint business class routes.
JetBlue uses a revenue-based points program, which means all JetBlue award tickets are priced based on the ticket’s cash value. This means the more expensive the ticket, the more JetBlue points you will need.

When Do JetBlue Points Expire?
JetBlue TrueBlue points never expire as long as your Trueblue account is open and in good standing. But if you close your account, JetBlue will delete your points. Although the points never expire, you should still redeem your TrueBlue points frequently because airlines frequently devalue points without notice.
Earning JetBlue TrueBlue Points
Here are all the ways you can earn JetBlue TrueBlue points:
You earn 3 TrueBlue points per dollar spent on JetBlue flights for Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, and Mint (lie-flat business class). Plus, you will receive an extra 3 points per dollar if you book directly with JetBlue and another 3 points per dollar if you are a Mosic elite member. However, if you book a Blue Basic (basic economy), then you will only earn 1 point per dollar for JetBlue flights and another 1 point per dollar if you book directly with JetBlue. JetBlue is not part of a major airline alliance, but they do partner with several airlines, allowing you to earn JetBlue TrueBlue points when you fly with their partners: JSX and Silver Airways award a fixed amount of points for each flight (150 to 250 points), but JetBlue’s other partners award points based on fare class and distance. For example, a roundtrip economy discount fare class “S” ticket from Chicago to Capetown via Doha would earn you about 11,748 JetBlue TrueBlue points. JetBlue Plus Card: Earn up to 80,000 bonus points (60,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days and earn 20,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 within the first year). JetBlue Business Card: Earn up to 80,000 bonus points (60,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days and earn 20,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 within the first year). JetBlue Card: Earn 10,000 Points Welcome Bonus After $1,000 in Purchases in the First 90 Days. You can transfer points from three transferrable points programs to JetBlue from American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou. Chase and Citi transfer at a ratio of 1 to 1, but American Express transfers at a lower ratio of 1 Amex point to 0.8 JetBlue points. JetBlue allows you to create a points pool with friends and family for up to seven people. When you join a points pool, each member contributes 100% of their points to the pool, which can be used by the Pool Leader or a designated Pool member to redeem points. IHG Hotels & Resorts: Earn up to 2 TrueBlue points per $1 spent on qualifying stays at most properties. Avis: Earn 100 points per day (200 points for Mosaic elite members) for rental cars up to 5 days. Paisley: Paisley by JetBlue is a portal that allows you to earn 1 point per dollar when you book hotels, rental cars, vacation homes, activities, or buy luggage. Plus, you will earn 1 Mosaic Tile for every $100 spent. Vacation Packages: When you book a JetBlue vacation package you will earn points for the flight and 1 point per dollar on hotel, cruise, rental cars, and transfers. We generally don’t recommend you buy points, but it can be a decent deal to buy JetBlue points during a special sale. Peacock: Earn 1,000 points when you start a new Peacock streaming subscription, which costs $5.99 per month. Surveys: One way to earn points for free is to take online surveys with JetOpinions.
