Fast Track to Hyatt Elite Status

World of Hyatt’s new trial tier status offer for AAdvantage elite members opens up exciting possibilities for those aiming to boost their hotel status. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Eligible AAdvantage elite members can register for the offer through October 31, 2024.
  • Upon registration, you’ll receive a 90-day trial period with World of Hyatt Explorist status.
  • To maintain Explorist status through February 2026, you must complete 10 tier-qualifying nights during the trial period.
  • AAdvantage members with Platinum Pro or Executive Platinum status have an even more attractive opportunity: earn World of Hyatt Globalist status by completing 20 tier-qualifying nights during the trial period.

Timing is crucial with this offer. Your 90-day trial period begins immediately upon registration, so plan your stays strategically. For a stay to count towards the trial offer, you must check out during the 90-day Explorist trial period.

You can earn tier-qualifying nights at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, as well as participating Mr & Mrs Smith properties. This provides you with a wide range of options for your stays. Keep in mind that tier-qualifying nights earned through World of Hyatt credit cards don’t count towards this promotion.

It’s important to note that some World of Hyatt perks, such as suite upgrade awards and Guest of Honor benefits, are tied to the Milestone Rewards program and not granted through this fast track offer. However, the accelerated path to status can help you reach these milestones more quickly.

Remember, this offer is only available to members who have already linked their AAdvantage and World of Hyatt accounts. If you haven’t done so yet, make sure to link your accounts before registering for this promotion.

Fast Track to American Airlines Status

World of Hyatt elite members have an opportunity to fast-track their way to American Airlines elite status. This targeted opportunity demonstrates the strength of the partnership between these two travel giants. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Check the “promotions” tab in your AAdvantage account to see if you’re eligible for the offer.
  • The most common offer for Globalist members includes four months of Platinum Pro status with American Airlines.
  • After receiving your initial status, you can maintain or upgrade it by earning a certain number of Loyalty Points in four-month periods.
  • This offer is a version of American’s Instant Status Pass program, without the usual enrollment fee.

One significant advantage of this offer is that credit card spending counts toward earning Loyalty Points for the American Airlines status challenge. You can boost your progress towards status even when you’re not flying, providing flexibility for various travel patterns and frequencies.
