Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you can transfer to anyone who has a Capital One Spark or Venture account. There are also no limits on how many miles you can transfer.

The transfer cannot be done online, so you will have to call Capital One.

No. The name on the Capital One account must match the airline account.

The only workaround is if that person has a Capital One Venture or Spark account, where you can transfer to their Capital One account and then they transfer to their airline account.

You have two options for Capital One miles, either redeem for one cent per point for a travel purchase or transfer to an airline partner.

Even at the 2 to 1.5 ratio, you should be able to get a good amount of value by transferring points instead of redeeming it for a cash travel purchase.

The one exception maybe if you can find a cheap economy ticket, but for business or first-class flights, you should always transfer.

Your Capital One miles will not expire as long as your account remains open and in good standing.
