Notes:

  • Alaska is the only major domestic airline to award points by the number of miles flown. You can use GCMap to find the number of miles. The other airlines in the chart are all revenue based are revenue based (i.e. 5 x fare price= the number of points). Additionally, United, Delta, and American have the same status multipliers for each level (5, 7, 8, 9, and 11).
  • Southwest– Economy= Wanna Get Away; Premium Economy= Anytime; and First Class= Business Select
  • JetBlue– Economy= Blue; Premium Economy= Blue Plus; and First= Mint
  • Alaska= Economy= H, Q, L, V, K, G, T, or R; Premium Economy (i.e. refundable economy)= Y or S; and First= F or P. Tier 1 status= MVP; Tier 3= MVP Gold; and Top Status= MVP Gold 75k.
