Here’s the latest miles, points, deals, and travel news:

Bilt October Rent Day

Bilt Rent Day returns October 1 with members scoring up to a 50% redemption bonus when using points for Amazon purchases, with Blue members getting 20%, Silver 30%, Gold 40%, and Platinum members earning the full 50% bonus on purchases up to $5,000.

Select members also received targeted Bilt Rent Day offers for up to 75% bonus when redeeming points for rent credits, available to claim between September 25 and October 1 for future rent payments.

This month’s Bilt Rent Day features exclusive access to Leslie Jones comedy tour tickets in Orlando (October 11) and Columbus (November 14) for 3,500 points or $50 each, with Gold and Platinum members getting 10-minute early access starting Friday at noon.

You can grab free stromboli from Scarpetta at the Bilt Neighborhood Cafe on Bilt Rent Day, plus book fitness classes at 700 SoulCycle spots across 54 locations or Barry’s Bootcamp classes at 500+ locations (limited to 10 spots each).

Bilt Rent Day automatically doubles points for Bilt Mastercard holders with 6x on dining, 4x on travel, and 2x on other purchases (capped at 1,000 bonus points), while the monthly “Rent Free” game show hosted by Leslie Jones gives 10 winners up to $2,500 toward rent.

New Marriott Card Bonuses

You can now grab 125,000 Bonvoy points plus a 50,000-point free night certificate with the Marriott Boundless card after spending $3,000 in your first three months.

The no-annual-fee Bonvoy Bold card doubled its welcome bonus to 60,000 points after just $1,000 in spending within three months.

That Boundless free night certificate can be topped off with up to 15,000 points from your account, letting you book stays worth up to 65,000 points per night.

This represents a shift from the Boundless card’s previous offer of three free night certificates to a combination of flexible points and one certificate.

American’s Elevated Status Match

American Airlines just dropped a status match offer that’ll actually bump you up one tier higher than what you’d normally get – so if you’re holding Delta Gold status, you’ll land at Platinum Pro instead of the usual Platinum match.

The program covers nine airlines (Delta, United, Southwest, JetBlue, Air Canada, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic) and runs through October 31, 2025, giving you four months of trial status to start.

Here’s where it gets interesting: you can lock in your matched status through March 31, 2027 by hitting the Loyalty Points threshold during your trial period – 40,000 for Gold, 75,000 for Platinum, 125,000 for Platinum Pro, or 200,000 for Executive Platinum.

If you’re matching from a Platinum Pro or Executive Platinum equivalent on another airline, you’ll score complimentary Flagship Lounge passes too – two passes for Platinum Pro matches and four passes for Executive Platinum matches.

Wyndham Fall Points Promo

Wyndham Rewards just launched their Fall Getaway Deals promotion, offering you 7,500 bonus points for every two nights you stay at participating properties worldwide, with the potential to rack up 30,000 points total through four separate two-night stays.

You can squeeze out an extra 7,500 points if you pay with a Wyndham credit or debit card, bringing your maximum haul to 37,500 points – enough for multiple free nights or a $100 gift card.

The promotion requires direct bookings between September 25, 2025 and January 16, 2026 for stays completed by January 20, 2026, though it excludes hotels in China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

Avelo Introduces Plus Membership Program

Avelo Airlines has launched Avelo Plus, a $99 annual subscription program that’s currently available for just $49 during the first year.

You’ll get exclusive member pricing on flights, free priority boarding, year-round member promotions, a $50 renewal bonus, and the ability to share perks with up to nine friends on the same reservation.

The discounted fares appear alongside standard prices on Avelo’s website, but you can’t book these member rates through customer service, airport counters, or third-party booking sites.

Breeze Goes International Next Year

Breeze Airways has received approval to launch international service starting January 10, 2026, with flights to Cancun, Mexico, Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The airline will operate seven seasonal routes from six U.S. airports: Norfolk to Cancun (Saturdays starting January 10), Charleston to Cancun (Saturdays starting January 17), New Orleans to Cancun (Saturdays starting February 7), Providence to Cancun (Saturdays starting February 14), Tampa to Montego Bay (Mondays and Saturdays starting February 11), and Raleigh to both Montego Bay and Punta Cana (Thursdays and Sundays starting March 5).

You’ll find promotional fares starting at $99 one-way, and Breeze will be the only airline connecting Tampa with Montego Bay and the only carrier offering nonstop service from Charleston, Norfolk, and Providence to Cancun.

Delta Partners With YouTube

Delta announced a partnership with YouTube at CES 2025 that brings ad-free videos, music playlists, and podcasts from creators like MrBeast and Mel Robbins directly to the airline’s 165,000+ seatback screens and personal devices across its fleet.

Starting October 1, SkyMiles members flying domestically can access a free 14-day YouTube Premium trial through Delta Sync Wi-Fi without entering payment information, giving them ad-free viewing, offline downloads, and background playback capabilities.
