Flying Blue Promo Rewards
Air France-KLM are out with their new Promo Rewards this month.
Below is the list of Promo Flight rewards for travel until March 31, 2023. You must book by September 30, 2023. KLM: Air France:
Amex and Chase Transfer Bonuses
There are three new credit card transfer bonuses:
- Amex Membership Rewards: 15% Bonus to Avianca LifeMiles (1 to 1.15) until August 31, 2023.
- Amex Membership Rewards: 25% Bonus to Hilton Honors (1 to 2.5) until August 31, 2023.
- Chase Ultimate Rewards: 50% Bonus to Marriott Bonvoy (1 to 1.5) until September 30, 2023.
Etihad Airways Launching Flights to Boston
Starting March 31, 2024, Etihad Airways will be flying from Abu Dhabi to Boston on a two-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 28 Business Studio seats and 262 Economy seats.
The flight is scheduled at 13 hours and 45 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 12 hours and 5 minutes from Boston.
Tickets are on sale now, so it’s likely that award space on the route is wide open.
Resy Promotion
Resy, the reservation platform American Express owns, is out with two new promotions:
Resy Amex Offer
Eligible American Express® Card Members can earn a $15 statement credit after making a single in-restaurant purchase of $60 or more by using their enrolled Card at up to 200 select restaurants by August 31, 2023, up to 2 times.
For example, in Chicago, there were 10 restaurants available for the Amex Offer.
Free Dinner for 3,200 People
Amex and Resy will be covering the check (up to $99 per person, up to 6 people per table) for up to 3,200 diners at 25 independent restaurants across the country participating in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
Reservations open up at 10 AM local time each Monday (August 7, 14, 21, 28) for the following Wednesday at these restaurants:

Cosmopolitan to MGM Rewards: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will transition from its Identity loyalty program to MGM Rewards on February 1, 2024.
Frontier Airlines’ New Bag Policy: Frontier Airlines tweeted that “Starting August 16th, all Frontier ticket counters will close for check-in and bag drop 60 minutes (previously 45 minutes) prior to your flight departure.”
AirJapan to Launch: Air Japan, ANA Holdings’ new low-cost airline brand for medium-haul international routes, is set to launch its inaugural all-economy Boeing 787-8 service on 9 February 2024, linking Tokyo Narita with Bangkok, with tickets now on sale for six weekly roundtrips through 30 March 2024. The service will feature 324-seat Boeing 787s with all-economy interiors, offering three fare classes, and will include a customizable service model with options for in-flight purchases, as well as free wireless in-flight entertainment.
Yotel-JetBlue Partnership: JetBlue and YOTEL have announced a partnership that offers perks to members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program, including the ability to earn 1 point per dollar on YOTEL stays, a 10% off YOTEL’s flexible rate, and a welcome gift. Mosaic members get space available upgrades plus late checkout.
Avelo Launches Flight to Puerto Rico: Startup airline Avelo will launch a flight from New Haven to San Juan starting November 15th that operates twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
United’s New Amenity Kits: United is rolling out two new amenity kits on premium domestic flights to replace the current Away kits. Here are the two kits:
United x Asutra Amenity Kit: Available in business class on premium transcontinental flights between Newark and the West Coast, this kit includes products from Asutra, co-owned by Venus Williams. The cruelty-free skincare products include a cleansing face towelette, lip balm, hand lotion, bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, and ear plugs, all in a reusable Asutra-branded pouch.
United x Ua Body Amenity Kit: Available in first class on flights between the mainland and Hawaii, this kit features products from Hawaii-based Ua Body. It includes a lip balm, hand cream, refreshing face mist, bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, and ear plugs, all in a reusable pouch with artwork from Hawaii-based artist Christie Shinn.
