Alaska Launches Seattle-London Heathrow Flights

Alaska Airlines just dropped a big one: nonstop Seattle to London Heathrow service kicks off May 21, 2026, with tickets on sale now starting at $699 round-trip.

The route operates daily year-round on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners featuring 34 lie-flat business-class suites with sliding privacy doors — the same premium cabin Hawaiian Airlines debuted in early 2024.

Flight times are solid for business travelers: SEA-LHR departs 9:40 p.m. arriving 3:05 p.m. the next day, while the return leaves Heathrow at 5:00 p.m. landing in Seattle at 6:50 p.m.

Award pricing through Atmos Rewards isn’t stellar right now — you’re looking at 30,000-42,500 points one-way for economy and up to 200,000 for business class, though Bilt Rewards transfers 1:1 if you need to top off your account.

Atmos Titanium elites score complimentary day-of-departure upgrades to business class when seats are available, which is a pretty sweet perk for Alaska’s first-ever transatlantic route on its own metal.

This London launch follows Alaska’s broader international push using Hawaiian’s Dreamliner fleet, with Rome service starting in late April 2026 and plans for at least a dozen long-haul routes from Seattle by 2030.

Hyatt Adds African Safari Bookings

World of Hyatt members can now book 15 luxury safari camps across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda through Asilia Africa via the Mr & Mrs Smith platform.

The camps include Dunia Camp (the first East African safari camp run entirely by women), Jabali Ridge and Usangu Expedition Camp in Ruaha National Park, Namiri Plains and The Highlands near the Serengeti, and Ol Pejeta Bush Camp in Kenya with views of Mount Kenya.

You’ll earn and redeem World of Hyatt points on eligible stays, but fair warning: cash rates run $1,500-$2,000 per night, while redemptions start around 126,250 points and can exceed 200,000 points per night.

Since these are Mr & Mrs Smith properties, redemption rates are dynamic rather than fixed.

Asilia Africa became the first African travel company to earn B Corp certification back in 2012, and their camps are located in ecologically sensitive areas with strong community conservation programs.

Breeze Airways 40% Off Sale

Breeze Airways is offering 40% off round-trip base fares with promo code TWIST through December 10, 2025 (11:59 pm PT) for travel January 5 through March 11, 2026 (excluding February 11-23).

Just a heads up: the discount only applies to base fares—not taxes and fees—and you won’t see the savings until the final payment screen, so don’t forget to actually enter the code before you check out.

Bank of America Adds Pre-Qualify Tool

Bank of America is now showing a “See if you prequalify” button on some individual credit card pages (spotted on the Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature card, among others), which asks for the last four digits of your social and phone number to check your approval odds.

This card-specific pre-qualify tool appears to be a stronger indicator of your chances than the general pre-approval tool Bank of America has offered in the past.
