Discover IT Credit Card Review

The Discover IT is a decent credit card, but I would not get it until you are past the 5/24 Rule (i.e. you should sign up for Chase credit cards first until you have signed up for more than 5 credit cards in the past 24 months)

Discover doubles your cash back your first year, which will allow you to earn during your first year 10% cash back on rotating categories and 2% cash back everywhere else. The Discover IT becomes much less valuable in the second year because you only earn 1% cash back on the non-category spending. This is not competitive considering the Citi Double Cash offers 2% with no annual fee, but you should still keep the card to take advantage of the 5% rotating categories.
