  • Target Bonus: 100,000 Membership Rewards points (this bonus is fairly rare and/or hard to get, so 75,000 points is a decent bonus. Some people have had some luck in the past calling 1-800-971-6736 or 1-877-628-6736 and asking American Express whether the 100,000 bonus is available to you.)
  • Current Bonus: 75,000 Membership Rewards points (high minimum spend requirement)

Annual Fee: $595

Authorized User Fee

  • $300 for each authorized user Platinum card (Authorized users get all of the benefits, including Priority Pass and airport lounge access, except for the Airline, Uber, and Saks fee credits). However, the personal (non-business) versions of the Platinum card only cost $175 in total for three authorized users)

Earning Membership Rewards Points

  • 5x Membership Rewards points on flights booked directly with an airline, flights or hotels booked on AmexTravel.com, and hotels booked using the Fine Hotels and Resorts program. 
  • 1.5 Membership Rewards points on purchases above $5,000
  • 1x Membership Rewards points everywhere else

  • Complimentary Platinum Global Access from WeWork, which can get you access to workspace in 22 countries and 300+ locations. 
  • $200 Dell Credit in the form of $100 in statement credits from January to June and $100 in statement credits from July to August. You do need to register in advance to be eligible. 
  • A 35% bonus when you pay for an eligible flight on Amextravel.com using points
  • 10 GoGo In-flight Wifi passes
