AAdvantage Executive Card Benefits

Admirals Club Lounge Access– The main benefit of the AAdvantage Executive card is unlimited lounge access to American Airlines’ Admirals Clubs, which are a great place to grab a drink or food before your flight.

  • You can bring in two guests into the Admirals Club.
  • You must be flying American Airlines or a OneWorld airline.
  • Authorized users also get lounge access and can bring in two guests.
  • If you were to maximize the number of authorized users to 10, you are essentially buying Admirals Club lounge access for $41 per person ($450/11).

Alaska Airlines Lounge Access– Primary cardholders (not authorized users) get lounge access to Alaska Airlines lounges when flying on Alaska or American Airlines.

Free Checked Bag for Up to 9 People- You can get a free checked bag for you and up to 8 travel companions on the same reservation. 

Priority Boarding– Cardmembers and up to eight travel companions can get on the plane earlier and board in Group 4.

Priority Check-In– Cardmembers can use the business or first class priority check-in lane regardless of what class you are flying with American Airlines for you and up to eight travel companions on the same reservation. 

Priority Security Screening– You also should receive TSA PreCheck when traveling on American Airlines operated flights.

10,000 Elite Miles– You can earn 10,000 Elite Qualifying Miles when you spend $40,000 within a year.

No Foreign Transaction Fees– You can use your AAdvantage Executive card anywhere in the world without having to pay a foreign transaction fee, which is typically 3%. 

Global Entry/TSA PreCheck Credit– You can receive up to a $100 reimbursement as a statement credit when paying for your Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee with your card. You are eligible to use this benefit every five years.
