Chase just launched a brand new credit card with the United Quest, which has a $250 annual fee but comes with nice benefits such as a $125 United credit, up to 10,000 award miles each year, two free bags, and many great travel protections.
It also launched with a great 100,000 miles sign-up bonus.

Quest Card Benefits on United
$125 United Credit– Card members receive a $125 credit for United Airlines each account year.
Up to 10,000 miles back on awards — automatically receive 5,000 miles back in your account after taking a United-operated award flight booked with your miles, up to twice every anniversary year starting after your first anniversary.
First and Second Bags Free– The primary cardholder and one traveling companion on the same reservation are eligible to receive their first and second bag for free when you use the Quest card to purchase your United-operated flight.
Priority Boarding- You and your companions on the same reservation enjoy priority boarding. This also allows you to bypass the Basic Economy restriction on bringing a carry-on bag.
25% In-Flight Purchases- You can receive a 25% statement credit on any in-flight purchase of food, beverages, and Wi-Fi when you pay using your Explorer card.
Award Upgrades for Premier Members- If you are a United Premier Elite member, you can enjoy complimentary upgrades on award tickets when you fly.
Extra Elite Points– Cardmembers earn 500 Premier Qualifying Points for every $12,000 you spend each calendar year up to 3,000 PQPs.
Other Card Benefits
Primary Rental Car Insurance: This coverage pays for any damage to your rental car when you pay for your rental using your United Quest card. You still need to maintain liability coverage, but this benefit can save you thousands of dollars if something accidentally happens to your rental.
Trip Delay Insurance: This coverage reimburses you for up to $500 in expenses such as hotels, food, and transportation if your flight is delayed for 12 hours or requires an overnight stay. This is one of my favorite benefits because it covers weather delays, which airlines do not. So while people are sleeping at the airport, you can enjoy a nice hotel and a four-course meal.
No Foreign Transactions Fees- You can use your Quest card anywhere in the world without having to pay foreign transaction fees, which are typically 3%.
Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check Credit- Cardmembers get a statement credit when purchasing Global Entry or TSA PreCheck every four years.
Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance: This benefit covers up to $1,500 per person and $6,000 per trip of prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses if you need to cancel a trip short because of a covered issue such as an illness or accidental injury by the covered person or their immediate family.
Baggage Delay Insurance: This coverage reimburses you for purchasing essential items if your baggage is delayed more than 6 hours and allows you to spend up to $100 per day for a maximum of 5 days.
Lost Luggage Reimbursement: If a common carrier loses your bag, you can seek reimbursement up to $3,000 per person for each trip, including up to $500 per person for jewelry, cameras, and other electronic equipment.
Purchase Protection: This 120-day coverage protects your purchases from theft or damage up to $10,000 for each claim and up to $50,000 for each account. For example, if your new laptop was stolen or damaged within the first 120 days, you could seek reimbursement from Chase.
Extended Warranty– This benefit extends the U.S. manufacturer’s warranty by an additional year on warranties of three years or less.
