The Chase Southwest Premier card earns 2x points on Southwest and their hotel and rental car partners, plus you get great travel protections such as baggage delay insurance, secondary rental car insurance, and no foreign transaction fees.
However, we do recommend the Southwest Priority card over the Premier card because of the Priority’s $75 travel credit, four upgraded boardings, and a 7,500 point anniversary bonus.
It can also help you get closer to Southwest’s amazing Companion Pass, especially if you are eligible to open a business card with the Premier card.
