Through April 8, 2025, you can purchase Choice Privileges points for as low as 0.69 cents per point. This is a bonus of 50% over the normal rate of 1.14 cents per point when you buy at least 12,000 points to get the bonus.

What Credit Card Should You Use to Buy Miles Points?
Purchases of Choice Privileges points are processed by Points.com, which does not count as a special category such as travel or hotels for extra credit card bonus points. Thus, you should use a card that earns high rewards on everyday spending.

When Do Choice Privileges Points Expire?
Choice Privileges points expire after 18 months of account inactivity. However, you can keep your points from expiring by completing at least one qualifying activity every 18 months.
Qualifying activities include earning points from hotel stays, redeeming Choice points, purchasing points, transferring points to Choice Privileges, or earning points from partners (rental cars, cruises, and surveys).
