Bilt Rent Day for this Month

Here is what Bilt has planned for rent day:

Accor Transfer Bonus

If you were hoping Bilt would use February’s Rent Day to roll out a splashy airline transfer bonus during the Bilt 2.0 transition, you’ll be disappointed. Instead, the headline promotion is an Accor transfer bonus of up to 125%, which is solid but not exactly the stuff of travel hacking dreams.

That said, there’s still plenty worth your attention this month. MrBeast is hosting Rent Free with a full year of rent on the line, the dining experience roster has tripled, and existing Bilt Mastercard holders have one last shot at double points before everything changes.

Bilt points normally transfer to Accor at a 3:2 ratio, meaning 3,000 Bilt points become 2,000 Accor points. This differs from Bilt’s typical 1:1 transfers to airline partners, which is why the February bonus percentages look a bit unusual.

Accor points carry a fixed value of 2 Euro cents each, roughly 2.4 cents in US dollars. That fixed rate removes any guesswork about redemption value, but it also eliminates the upside you might find with airline sweet spots.

On February 1 only, your transfer bonus depends on your Bilt status level:

  • Blue members: 25% bonus (6:5 ratio), yielding approximately $19.82 per 1,000 points transferred
  • Silver members: 50% bonus (1:1 ratio), yielding approximately $23.78 per 1,000 points
  • Gold members: 75% bonus (6:7 ratio), yielding approximately $27.75 per 1,000 points
  • Platinum members: 100% bonus (3:4 ratio), yielding approximately $31.71 per 1,000 points
  • Platinum with $75 Bilt Cash: 125% bonus (3:4.5 ratio), yielding approximately $35.67 per 1,000 points

Even at the Blue level, you’re looking at roughly 2 cents per point in value. That’s a respectable floor for Bilt redemptions, especially given the uncertainty around what transfer bonuses Bilt 2.0 will offer going forward.

Should You Spend $75 Bilt Cash to Boost Your Status?

Here’s the new wrinkle this month: you can spend $75 of Bilt Cash to bump yourself up one status tier for the transfer bonus. Blue can become Silver, Silver can become Gold, and so on. Platinum members can access the 125% bonus tier.

The math only works if you’re transferring a substantial number of points. For context, that $75 in Bilt Cash could alternatively be redeemed for 2,500 points when paying rent. You’d need to transfer enough points for the bonus difference to exceed that 2,500-point opportunity cost.

There’s a bigger practical problem, though. Bilt Cash from the new card welcome bonuses won’t hit accounts until a week into February, which is too late. The only members who currently have $75 in Bilt Cash are those who’ve earned at least 50,000 points since the program launched, since you receive $50 in Bilt Cash for every 25,000 points earned.

Double Points on the 1st of the Month

Bilt doubles the points you can earn with the Bilt Mastercard® for all of your non-rent spending:

  • Dining: 6 points per dollar.
  • Travel: 4 points per dollar.
  • Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar spent.
  • Rent: 1 point per dollar.

The number of bonus points is capped at 1,000 points.

Neighborhood Experience Offer

Bilt has tripled its dining experience roster to 42 restaurants across eight cities, making this the largest selection to date. The participating cities are New York, Miami, Dallas, Boston, Washington D.C., Arlington, Jersey City, and Nashville.

Each venue offers a multi-course tasting menu ranging from two to four courses, or omakase at select locations. Tickets run between $35 and $60, with optional premium beverage pairings available for $20 to $46 at checkout. Two locations are hosting special launch events throughout February: Skewr in New York City and Electric Jane in Nashville.

Fitness Classes Expand Slightly

SoulCycle is offering 875 spots across 54 locations, up from 700 last month. Barry’s Bootcamp has 520 slots at participating studios, with only 10 spots per location.

Booking opens January 28 at noon ET, though Platinum and Gold members get early access starting at 11:50am. All fitness class sales are final with no refunds available.

One SoulCycle participant will win a free month of rent valued at up to $2,500. You can also enter this sweepstakes without booking a class by emailing your name, address, and email to the designated address.

Comedy Shows Across 13 Cities

Eighteen comedy venues span Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chandler, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Somerville. Standard club experiences with two drinks included cost $30 to $40 or 2,000 to 2,500 points. Premium experiences at unique venues with drinks and light bites run $75 or 5,000 points.

You can book up to four tickets for unlimited experiences. Comedy tickets remain available until 11am on the day of each show or until sold out.

The Beast Games Snack Bundle

For pure novelty, Bilt is offering a MrBeast-themed snack bundle for $19 or 1,500 points. The package includes Feastables chocolates, Jack Link’s jerky, protein milk, Prime hydration, and a few other treats. It ships within one to two weeks.

Rent Free Game Show

The monthly Rent Free game show returns with MrBeast hosting, and the prize structure has been significantly expanded.

One winner will receive a full year of rent, capped at $30,000. The next 50 top scorers each win one month of rent, up to $2,500. After that, 100 players receive 1,000 Bilt points and another 500 receive 100 points.

Entry is free and runs from January 27 at noon ET through February 1 at 3pm ET. You’ll guess the top three answers to survey-style questions, earning one sweepstakes entry per correct answer. Correctly ranking an answer doubles your points, and matching the celebrity’s pick triples them.

Results post at 4pm ET on February 1. Given there’s zero cost to participate and 651 total winners, there’s no reason not to play.
