One of the coolest promotions in miles and points is Bilt Rewards’ Rent Day promotion, which happens on the first of each month for a single day.
Bilt Rewards is free to join, but you can earn a lot more points with the Bilt Mastercard® (review), which allows cardmembers to pay rent without fees and earn 1x points per dollar.

Bilt Rent Day for September 2025
Here is what Bilt has planned for rent day:
Virgin Points Transfer Bonus
You can boost your Bilt points transfer to Virgin Points during September’s Rent Day with an exclusive bonus offer. The promotion runs from 12:00 am ET through 11:59 pm PT on September 1, 2025.
You’ll receive one Virgin Point for every Bilt Point you transfer, plus an additional transfer bonus percentage displayed in your account. This bonus is valid for a single transfer only, so make it count.
You need to be enrolled in Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red before transferring. You can convert points in 1,000-point increments, though Blue members must transfer at least 2,000 points. Most transfers happen immediately, but allow up to 48 hours for completion.
Double Points on the 1st of the Month
Bilt doubles the points you can earn with the Bilt Mastercard® for all of your non-rent spending:
- Dining: 6 points per dollar.
- Travel: 4 points per dollar.
- Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar spent.
- Rent: 1 point per dollar.
The number of bonus points is capped at 1,000 points.
Neighborhood Experience Offer
September’s Neighborhood Experience lineup offers over 1,000 seats across multiple events. Reservations open August 28th, with Platinum and Gold members getting early access at 11:50am ET, followed by other members at 12:00pm ET.
You can book using Bilt points or eligible cards linked to your account. Each member can make one reservation for up to four people on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival costs $150 or 10,000 points and includes unlimited pizza from 40+ pizzerias plus one drink ticket. The Auberge Concert Series features Leon Bridges on October 7th for $400 or 25,000 points, including a beverage and $50 charity donation.
Comedy Experiences feature surprise comedians, and you can book one in addition to other experiences. All reservations close at 5:00pm ET on August 31st.
Barry's Rent Day Classes
Barry’s offers free Rent Day classes for September 1st at select studios. Reservations open August 28th at 11:50am ET for Platinum and Gold members, then 12:00pm ET for all others.
Book your free spot through the Bilt app on a first-come, first-served basis. You get one free class per person, redeemable in-studio only. Your class includes a complimentary Fuel Bar shake.
You’ll provide a payment card when booking that’s only charged if you miss your class without canceling. No-shows result in a $30 charge and ineligibility for future Rent Day classes.
SoulCycle Classes
SoulCycle offers free Rent Day rides for September 1st at studios nationwide. Reservations open August 28th at 11:50am ET for Platinum and Gold members, then 12:00pm ET for others.
Free bikes are available first-come, first-served through the Bilt app. You get one free ride per person, including shoe rental and water. You must use your free class on September 1st only.
Like Barry’s, you’ll provide a payment card that’s only charged for no-shows. Missing your ride costs $30 and makes you ineligible for future Rent Day rides.
Rent Free Game Show
You can enter the Rent Free Contest by answering three questions in the Bilt app.
The top ten players will receive up to $2,500 toward their monthly rent payment. Additional prizes include Bilt points for the next 500 highest-ranking players.
