If your business is involved on shipping products across the U.S. or around the world, having a business credit card can help lower down your costs.
There are multiple business credit cards that specifically reward you with cashback or points for spending on shipping costs. Not just that, these cards also come with several travel and protection benefits.
Without further ado, let’s go over some of the best business credit cards for shipping expenses.
Best for Overall Value: American Express® Business Gold Card
Best for Travel: Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
Best No-Annual-Fee Card: Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express
1. American Express® Business Gold Card
Best for Overall Value
- Earn 70,000 Membership Rewards Points After $10,000 in Eligible Purchases in the First 3 Months
- 4X Points on Purchases in Your Top 2 Business Categories (up to $150,000 in Combined Purchases Per Calendar Year)
- No Foreign Transaction Fees
- $295 Annual Fee (Rates and Fees)
The American Express® Business Gold Card is a good fit for business owners who want to earn much-coveted Membership Rewards points from business spending.
For a $295 annual fee, this card earns 4x points on up to $150,000 in combined purchases per year in your top two spending categories, with options including eligible airfare, U.S. advertising, U.S. shipping, U.S. cloud, software, and hardware, U.S. gas, and U.S. dining purchases.
You can also receive 25% points back after you use points for all or part of an eligible flight booked with Amex Travel, up to 250,000 points back per calendar year.
The Amex Gold card has the highest earning rate towards shipping expenses. Hypothetically, if you maximized the $150,000 spending limit on shipping expenses alone, you’d earn a whopping 600,000 Membership Rewards points.
Take note, Membership Rewards points can be transferred to several American Express transfer partners which include major hotel and airline programs like Air Canada Aeroplan, British Airways Executive Club, Delta SkyMiles, and Marriott Bonvoy. This gives you more flexibility on how you want to redeem your points.
