Redeeming Frontier Airline Miles

Frontier Airlines allows the redemption of miles primarily for award flights, which are categorized into three tiers: Value, Standard, and Last Seat.

The Value tier offers the lowest redemption rate, typically available during off-peak times or for less demanded flights. Standard awards cost about twice as much as Value tickets and have wider date availability. Last Seat awards, exclusive to Frontier elite members, can be booked until the plane is full, costing an additional 2,500 miles each way compared to Standard awards.

Award rates start at 10,000 miles for one-way and 20,000 miles for round trips within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. For international destinations like Mexico and the Caribbean, one-way starts from 15,000 miles and round trips from 30,000 miles.

Frontier imposes booking fees for award tickets booked within 180 days of departure, scaling up as the departure date nears, but these fees are waived for elite members and Frontier Airlines credit card holders.
