No, The Platinum Card® from American Express does not get you access to United Club airport lounges.

The Amex Platinum does offer airport lounge access at over 1,400 lounges, including:

Centurion Lounges;
Delta Sky Clubs (when flying Delta);
Priority Pass;
Escape Lounges;
Plaza Premium; and
Lufthansa Lounges (when flying Lufthansa).

If you want United Club access, the best way is by getting the United Club℠ Infinite Card.
