Business Gold Card Benefits
Trip Delay Insurance– If your trip is delayed by more than 12 hours, you can seek reimbursement for up to $300 per trip up to twice per year.
Baggage Insurance– This coverage reimburses you for lost, damaged, or stolen baggage up to $1,250 for a carry-on bag and $500 for a checked bag.
25% Airline Bonus– To redeem your points, you can either transfer points to airlines directly or redeem points at 1 cent each on Amex Travel. Business Gold cardholders get a 25% bonus when redeeming points via Amex Travel, which allows you to redeem points at 1.25 cents per point.
Amex Offers– The Business Gold card, like all American Express cards, has access to Amex Offers, which are special deals at certain retailers. For example, spend $25, get a $10 statement credit.
Secondary Rental Car Insurance– This secondary coverage pays for any damage to the rental car not covered by your insurance. If you don’t have collision insurance, this coverage is primary coverage.
Return Protection– If a retailer won’t take back an item within 90 days of purchase, American Express may refund the full purchase price up to $300 per item with a maximum of $1,000 per year.
Purchase Protection– This coverage covers the replacement costs of items bought with the card that were stolen or accidentally damaged within the first 90 days up to $1,000 per item.
Extended Warranty– This benefit extends an original manufacturer’s warranty by one year on warranties of 5 years or less.
