Expanded Buying Power

This card offers expanded buying power allowing you to spend beyond your credit limit to help pay for larger purchases.

You must pay your monthly minimum due each month, including any amount over your credit limit. The amount under your credit limit can be carried over month to month, but it’s always best to pay in full to avoid fees and interest.

Your Expanded Buying Power amount adjusts based on a variety of factors, including your use of the card, payment history, and credit history.

Extended Warranty*

Credit card extended warranty protection adds up to an additional year of coverage for eligible purchases on manufacturer’s warranties up to 5 years.

For example, if you bought a TV with a manufacturer’s warranty of three years, this card would extend the warranty for free to the fourth year.

Purchase Protection*

Purchase protection could save you a lot of money if you bought an eligible item that is damaged or stolen within 90-days.

For example, if you accidentally dropped your new phone or laptop and broke the screen, you could file a claim to get it replaced if the item was purchased within the last 90 days.

Is the Blue Business Plus Worth It?

The Blue Business Plus Amex is worth it if you spend under $50,000 per year on your business card.

But if you spend more than $50,000, the Capital One Spark Miles for Business (review) is a better option because it offers 2 miles per dollar without any cap.
