Is the Amex Platinum Worth It?

The Amex Platinum is worth it if you can take advantage of the statement credits and airport lounge access.

This is especially true if you are a Delta flyer, have a Centurion or Escape Lounge at your home airport, or don’t have a Priority Pass membership with another credit card.

Personally, I have the Amex Platinum for flights and airport lounge access, along with the American Express® Gold Card (review) for restaurants and supermarkets, and Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card (review).
