Overview of Admirals Club Locations

Below are the airports where you can find Admirals Clubs:

Admirals Club Locations

There are more than 50+ Admirals Club Locations worldwide. Here are their locations, schedules, and amenities.

The Atlanta (ATL) Admirals Club is located in Domestic Terminal North, Concourse T, past security on the left, across from gate T11.

The lounge is open from Sunday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 5:00 AM to 7:15 PM.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is a decent place to spend time before a flight, especially if you can secure a seat in one of the quieter areas. Located one level above the concourse, across from Gate 22, the lounge is open between 4:15 AM to 8:15 PM Sunday through Friday and 4:15 AM to 7:45 PM on Saturdays.

While the lounge provides a more peaceful environment than the main terminal, its small size can lead to overcrowding, particularly during peak travel times and in the afternoons due to premium and elite passengers on British Airways’ daily flight to London-Heathrow.

American Airlines is in the process of constructing a much larger Admirals Club in Austin that will be about double the size of the current lounge.

Layout and Seating

The Admirals Club in Austin has a long and narrow layout, divided into several smaller rooms, which creates a sense of privacy despite its small size. Before reaching the reception desk, there is a room with chairs and small tables where you can even sleep in a pinch.

Another room to the right of the entrance features groupings of chairs and small tables overlooking the concourse below, benefiting from the large windows that provide plenty of natural light. At the rear of the lounge, there is an additional small room with chairs, tables, and a couple of workstations. However, the lack of a variety of seating options may be a drawback for some visitors.

Food

While the food and beverage offerings are not particularly impressive, the lounge has a small buffet area behind the reception desk, offering a limited selection of food options. During the visit described, the salad bar had few choices, and a meager fruit selection was available.

The main offering was a BBQ chicken slider bar with unappealing toppings, along with two soup options: minestrone and Italian wedding. A selection of assorted sweets, snack mix, corn nuts, and dark chocolate-covered cranberries were also provided. The limited food options and the staff’s inability to clear away empty containers quickly enough during busy periods can be a drawback.

Beverages

For non-alcoholic beverages, the lounge offers standard items like water, tea, and coffeemakers that can prepare various drinks. The bar provides complimentary beers, wines, and liquors, with premium options available for an additional fee. Three draft beers were on offer during the visit: Miller Lite, Stella Artois, and Electric Jellyfish Hazy IPA from local Austin brewery Pinthouse.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is conveniently located in Terminal B near gate B4. After passing through security, take a right and follow the signs for gates B4 to B12 to reach the lounge entrance.

The lounge is open daily from 4:00 AM to 8:30 PM, offering a comfortable space for travelers to relax before their flights. While the Admirals Club Boston may not be the most luxurious lounge, it provides a welcoming escape from the bustling terminal.

Layout and Seating

Upon entering, you’ll find a spacious and well-designed lounge with various seating options. The friendly staff and modern decor create a pleasant atmosphere. The main hallway features rows of seats facing each other, with outlets at nearly every seat for charging devices.

Off to the side is a TV room with around 10 seats facing two TVs, perfect for catching up on the latest news or sports. The back of the lounge houses the main dining area, with several tables near the buffet and bar. During peak times, the lounge can get crowded, and finding a seat may be challenging.

Amenities

Kids’ Room: The lounge offers a dedicated kids’ room with a TV, kid-sized chairs, tables, and fun decorations, providing a space for children to play and relax. This amenity makes the Admirals Club Boston a solid choice for families traveling with American Airlines.

Workspaces: The lounge features various workspaces, including cubicles with iMacs, booths for sitting, and private phone booths.

Rest Area: A quiet room with a few day beds is available for travelers looking to rest or nap.

Showers: The lounge has two spacious shower suites for refreshing before or after a flight, adding to its appeal for travelers on long journeys.

Food

The food selection at the Admirals Club Boston is decent but not extensive. Breakfast options include Greek yogurt, fruit, hardboiled eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, an egg scramble, and bacon.

A highlight is the made-to-order guacamole station, where you can customize your guac with various mix-ins and enjoy it with tortilla chips. Soup options like clam chowder and vegan chili are also available. However, the food options could be more exciting and varied to meet the expectations of those accustomed to more upscale lounges.

Beverages

The lounge offers a variety of complimentary beverages, including soft drinks from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, water, iced tea, and coffee from an espresso machine. At the bar, you can enjoy complimentary house beer (Coors Light), wine (Veloce Bianco and Rosso), and liquor (Cruzan rum, Evan Williams whiskey, New Amsterdam gin, and Svedka vodka).

Premium drinks and cocktails are available for purchase. While the beverage selection is adequate, it may not impress those used to more extensive options at higher-end lounges.

The Buenos Aires (EZE) Admirals Club is located inside the International departure lounge in Terminal B across from Gate 9 on the upper level.

The lounge is open daily from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM and offers the unique feature of shower suites.

The Charlotte Airport (CLT) currently has two Admirals Clubs:

Admirals Club at Concourse B

The American Airlines Admirals Club in Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s Concourse B is open daily from 5:15 AM to 11:15 PM. Located next to Gate B3, this small 4,500-square-foot lounge seats approximately 100 guests.

After checking in at the reception desk, the lounge area with casual seating is to the right, while the bar, dining seating, apron views, and business center with a printer are to the left. This layout has not changed, but the lounge was renovated in 2019, giving it a modern, sleek, and bright look with new windows overlooking the runway and taxiing American Airlines planes.

The bar offers a small selection of complimentary alcoholic beverages, with premium drinks available for purchase. The lounge also added a freestyle Coke machine and a Cruvinet wine dispenser to keep wines fresh and at the proper temperature.

Food options include the standard Admirals Club fare, like soups, cheese cubes, cookies, and brownies, with main dishes available for order at reasonable prices of $10 to $14.

Admirals Club at Concourse C & D

The Admirals Club in Concourse C at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is located at the intersection of Concourses C and D. The lounge is open daily from 5:15 AM to 10:15 PM. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by the check-in counter, where multiple agents work to minimize wait times.

The lounge spans a trio of large rooms and offers various seating options. It is often crowded, with nearly every seat taken during peak hours. Large windows provide views of the tarmac, and TVs are strategically placed throughout the space. Power outlets are readily available in the end tables between seats, although some may be worn out.

For those seeking a quiet workspace, the lounge features two areas with work carrels, each equipped with a printer/copy machine. However, the workspaces can be quite busy, particularly the larger one on the opposite side of the lounge. Restrooms are located on the left side of the lounge and include a spacious changing room, convenient for those traveling with infants or needing to change outfits.

The lounge offers two snack buffets, featuring a variety of individually packaged items such as beef jerky, granola bars, gummy bears, dried bananas, Nutter Butter cookies, hummus with crackers, Pringles potato crisps, Doritos chips, cake, cookies, and flatbread wraps. Self-serve snack jars with options like corn nuts, dark chocolate-covered cranberries, and “Sweet Caroline” mix are also available, as well as two choices of soup: minestrone and “Italian Wedding.”

Beverage options include La Colombe coffee (regular and decaf), an espresso machine, tea, water, and soft drinks, all available on a self-serve basis. A bar with a complimentary selection of beer, wine, and spirits, with premium drinks available for purchase by scanning your boarding pass.

While the Admirals Club CLT Concourse C lounge offers a better alternative to crowded gate areas, it can be overcrowded. The pre-packaged snacks are a notable perk, but visitors may want to consider alternative options during the construction phase. The lounge’s design, with its arched ceilings and large windows, is a highlight, and a massive new American Airlines lounge is set to open next year in the Concourse D-E connector area, promising to be the largest in the system.

Chicago O’Hare (ORD) features three Admirals Clubs all in Terminal 3.

The first Chicago Admirals Club is located in Concourse G after security, across from gate G8. This lounge is open daily from 6:15 AM to 7:15 PM, and features shower suites.

The second Chicago Admirals Club is located in Concourse H/K after security, in the crosswalk between gates H6 and K6. This lounge is open daily from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and offers the unique amenities of shower suites, a kids room, and two conference rooms.

The third Chicago Admirals Club is located in Concourse L after security, before Gate L1. This lounge is open daily from 6:15 AM to 7:15 PM.

Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) features five Admirals Clubs.

The first Dallas Admirals Club is located in Terminal A after security, across from gate A24. This lounge is open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:15 PM, and features the unique amenities of a kids room and two conference rooms.

The second Dallas Admirals Club is located in Terminal B after security, between gates B3 and B4. This lounge is open daily from 5:30 AM to 10:15 PM, and features the unique amenity of three conference rooms.

The third Dallas Admirals Club is located in Terminal C after security, between gates C19 and C20. This lounge is open daily from 4:00 AM to 10:15 PM, and features the unique amenities of a kids room and four conference rooms.

The fourth Dallas Admirals Club is located in Terminal D after security, near gate D24. The lounge is open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:15 PM, and features the unique amenity of a kids room.

The fifth Dallas Admirals Club is located in Satellite Terminal E on the Mezzanine Level. This lounge is open daily from 5:30 AM to 10:15 PM.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at Denver International Airport (DEN) is located airside in Concourse C, between gates C30 and C32. It is open daily from 4:30 AM to 11:30 PM and can be accessed by taking an escalator or elevator up to the mezzanine level, one level above the departure gates.

The lounge is approximately 6,000 square feet and has a seating capacity of 114 guests. The space expertly incorporates natural elements like wood and stone, paired with subtle nods to the great outdoors and the Denver area, beautifully showcasing the carrier’s new design concept.

Layout and Seating

As you enter the lounge past reception, you’ll come across a cozy fireplace surrounded by a large seating area with dark-colored couches and chairs that perfectly accent the space. Wood beams positioned over the windows look out to the concourse below, further highlighting the mountain lodge theme.

The lounge’s ceiling is painted black with stars dotting the area, resembling a clear night sky. The carpet features a blue and gray ridged pattern, a subtle nod to the Rocky Mountains. The lounge provides ample seating and a variety of amenities to keep guests comfortable and productive during their visit. However, the open layout may not be ideal for travelers seeking privacy for work or phone calls. The lounge would benefit from the addition of a few more secluded areas or quiet spaces.

Food

American Airlines has significantly elevated its food offerings in this new lounge. The dining area features a small buffet that rotates throughout the day, serving regionally inspired dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The improved food options, focusing on regional flavors and local brands, are a welcome addition.

Standout options include the chipotle chicken tacos served on Raquelita’s tortillas, black bean sliders, and Marco’s tomato and poblano salsa paired with Raquelita’s tortilla chips. An assortment of fresh salads and a charcuterie board are also available.

Beverages

The full-service bar offers a curated selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The signature Colorado Bulldog, made with vodka, coffee liqueur, cream, and cola, is a must-try for those looking for a unique regional libation.

The bar also features the locally crafted Cerveceria Colorado Mi Vida IPA. Non-alcoholic options include coffee, tea, soft drinks, and water, all available via self-serve stations.

The Admirals Club at Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is located in Terminal 2, directly across from security checkpoint 3. You’ll find this third-floor lounge accessible via elevator or stairs, conveniently situated next to THE LOCAL @ HNL restaurant.

Open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:45 PM, the club welcomes travelers seeking a comfortable space before their flights. This joint venture between Japan Airlines and American Airlines blends the best of both worlds, offering a unique lounge experience.

Layout And Seating

The lounge has a contemporary design with diverse seating options. The main area, adjacent to the food and beverage section, features long white tables equipped with built-in charging stations.

Comfortable chairs are located all around the lounge. While you won’t find couches or enclosed “pods” common in other Admirals Clubs, the seating remains both comfortable and practical.

Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase stunning views of the airport’s garden area, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Natural light floods the space, elevating the overall ambiance.

Food

The Admirals Club HNL’s food offerings reflect a strong Asian influence, showcasing its partnership with Japan Airlines. Afternoon options include chicken curry and chicken karaage, both praised for their authenticity and taste. The Japanese curry stands out with its generous portions of tender chicken and well-balanced spice profile.

Additional options include apple danish, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit, pretzels, chicken-flavored instant ramen, rice, and soup. The stir-fried vegetables receive high marks for maintaining their crunch and flavor, an impressive feat in a lounge setting. Yogurt provides a lighter alternative for health-conscious travelers.

Beverages

The Honolulu Admirals Club offers a more limited beverage selection than other locations. Beer, wine, and liquor are available. Hot beverage stations provide coffee and tea. A hot water dispenser near the ramen station allows you to prepare your own cup of noodles.

The Houston Intercontinental (IAH) Admirals Club is located in Terminal A after security, near gates A25 and A26.

The lounge is open Sunday to Friday from 4:15 AM to 7:45 PM, and Saturday from 4:15 AM to 6:45 PM. The lounge also offers the unique amenity of a conference room.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 provides travelers with a spacious retreat before their flights. You’ll find this lounge just below the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, conveniently situated in the middle of the corridors leading to most gates.

The Admirals Club welcomes visitors daily from 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The space comprises two sections: the main Admirals Club area and a separate First Class lounge.

Layout And Seating

As you enter, you’ll pass by bathrooms and showers before reaching the main seating area. The lounge’s focal point features a large round dining area, with the buffet situated to the left.

To the right, armchair-style seating offers good views across the terminal. A light installation brightens a corner, creating an appealing atmosphere.

Behind the dining area, screened by a wall, you’ll discover additional seating, including a small hot-desking area with TVs. A ‘quiet’ area offers a more subdued environment, though the noise level may not differ significantly from the rest of the lounge.

Amenities

The Admirals Club offers several amenities to improve your pre-flight experience.

Shower Facilities: You can freshen up before a long flight in one of the seven or eight large, clean shower suites, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Business Center: Need to catch up on work? A cubicle area provides four desks and two desktop Dell computers, along with printing and faxing capabilities.

TV Room: A dedicated room with two rows of chairs allows you to watch sports or news, though it may not always be in use.

Complimentary Bar: The self-serve bar offers a selection of spirits, wines, and soft drinks, including prosecco instead of champagne.

Food

The Admirals Club provides a buffet with both hot and cold options. Hot dishes may include items like beef goulash, steamed white rice, savoy cabbage with caraway butter, and pasta dishes such as tagliatelle al’ Amatriciana. You can also find soups, scones, bread, salads, and sandwiches for lighter fare. While the selection varies, some travelers note that certain hot dishes could use improvement in presentation and quality.

If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll appreciate the freezer stocked with Jude’s ice cream and a pick’n’mix-style sweets station, which adds a fun touch to the dining experience.

Beverages

Alcoholic beverages include spirits and wines, with prosecco available as a sparkling option. Soft drinks and hot beverages are readily available for non-alcoholic choices.

A coffee machine provides caffeine boosts for those who need it. The beverage selection covers the basics expected in an airport lounge. However, you may find the absence of champagne and a limited selection of premium spirits disappointing if you’re accustomed to more luxurious lounges.

Los Angeles (LAX) features three Admirals Clubs.

The first LAX Admirals Club is located in Terminal 4, Concourse level, across from gate 40. The lounge is open daily from 4:30 AM to 1:00 AM, and offers the unique amenities of shower suites and a conference room.

The second LAX Admirals Club is located in Terminal 5 near Duty Free. The lounge is open daily from 4:30 AM to 11:30 PM, and features the unique amenity of shower suites.

The third LAX Admirals Club is located in the American Eagle Regional Terminal, across from gates 52D and 52E. This lounge is open daily from 6:15 AM to 9:00 PM, but hours may vary based on flight schedules.

The Mexico City (MEX) Admirals Club is located in Terminal 1 Concourse H. The best way to access the Club is to use the entrance located on International Security Checkpoint G.

The lounge is open daily from 3:15 AM to 9:30 PM.

Miami Airport (MIA) has two Admirals Clubs located after security in the North Terminal’s Concourse D.

The first Miami Admirals Club is located across from gate D30. This lounge is open daily from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM and features the unique amenities of shower suites and one conference room.

The second Miami Admirals Club is located on the 3rd floor above gate D15. This lounge is open from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM and features the unique amenity of shower suites.

The Nashville (BNA) Admirals Club is located in Concourse C after security, on the Mezzanine level, across from gate C15.

The lounge is open daily from 4:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at JFK Terminal 8 is located in Concourse C, near gate 42. It operates daily from 4:15 AM to 10:30 PM.

To reach the lounge, passengers must take an escalator or elevator down to an underground walkway after clearing security, then ascend to Concourse C. The entrance is on the left before reaching any gates, with the lounge situated one level above the main concourse on the third floor. This location may be inconvenient for travelers not departing from gates 31-47, as it requires backtracking through the underground walkway.

Layout and Seating

Upon entering, you’ll find rows of seats facing each other to the left and the bar area to the right. The bar area includes cafe-style tables and high-top seating at the counter.

The main section of the lounge contains red and gray chairs arranged in rows, along with cafe tables and communal high-top workstations.

Near the entrance, two TV rooms are separated by a glass partition. A small, no-frills play area for children is also available.

The lounge’s design mixes old and new, with recently updated furniture contrasting against an outdated 90s-style decor.

Amenities

The Admirals Club at JFK Terminal 8 offers a range of amenities to enhance your travel experience:

Shower Suites: Multiple shower suites are available, providing a refreshing option for travelers. While not as modern as those in other American Airlines lounges, they offer a welcome opportunity to freshen up between flights.

Business Center: A dedicated area equipped with a printer and copy machine caters to business travelers’ needs. Several workstations and phone booths are also available throughout the lounge.

Children’s Play Area: A small, basic play area is provided for younger travelers, though it lacks extensive features or entertainment options.

TV Rooms: Two separate TV rooms allow passengers to catch up on news or entertainment.

Luggage Storage: Ample luggage storage space is available near the entrance, which is convenient for those with extended layovers.

Food

The food options at the Admirals Club are basic and somewhat limited. A self-serve buffet offers a selection of items including hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, and oatmeal during breakfast hours. Scrambled eggs are available with accompaniments such as cheese, bacon, tortillas, and pico de gallo.

For lunch and dinner, the offerings expand to include items like cheese cubes, crudités, and packaged snacks such as Terra chips and cookies. A soup option is typically available, along with a guacamole bar at certain times.

While the lounge attempts to provide a range of choices, the quality and selection may disappoint those expecting more substantial or gourmet options. A deli counter is present but often unmanned, with limited items available for purchase.

Beverages

The beverage selection at the Admirals Club is more extensive than its food offerings. Non-alcoholic options include La Colombo drip coffee, an espresso machine, tea, orange juice, and water. A Coca-Cola Freestyle machine provides a wide range of soft drink choices.

The full-service bar is a highlight, offering complimentary house beer and wine and basic liquor options. Premium drinks are available for purchase, with an impressive selection, including several bottles of Krug champagne.

Local beers and specialty cocktails are not prominently featured, which may disappoint those looking for a more curated or locally-inspired drink menu.

The Admirals Club at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is located in Concourse A of Terminal B, near gates 30-31. This recently renovated and expanded lounge operates from 4:30 AM to 9:30 PM daily. The club now is approximately 22,000 square feet, offering a spacious retreat for travelers.

Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a welcoming reception area staffed by friendly personnel. Self-check-in kiosks are available for those who prefer a quicker entry. The lounge’s modern design incorporates stylish elements, creating an atmosphere that balances sophistication with comfort.

Layout and Seating

The Admirals Club boasts a variety of seating options to cater to different preferences. The central area features red and mustard-colored leather chairs, complemented by wood-paneled walls and space dividers. Earthy tones dominate the carpets and additional seating areas, with sleek black accents providing visual contrast.

For those seeking relaxation, the lounge offers a quiet area with dimmed lighting. This space includes individual recliners and three Eames chairs, a first for an Admirals Club. Semi-secluded spots with thin curtains provide a sense of privacy, though the curtains may not fully block out light.

Work-oriented travelers can choose from individual booths, open work areas, or high- and low-top counter spaces. The lounge also features five business pods and three enclosed phone rooms, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Amenities

The Admirals Club at LGA offers a range of amenities to enhance the travel experience.

Shower Suites: Two shower suites are available for guests to freshen up, though these are located in the original lounge area.

VIP Conference Rooms: Two private conference rooms are available for reservation. The larger room, equipped with a 10-seat conference table, can be booked for $65 per hour. A smaller room, suitable for VIPs and families, features a small conference table, couch, and individual recliners, available for approximately $50 per hour.

Game Room: Families with children will appreciate the game room, featuring two silenced polycade arcade machines. Users can connect wired headphones to access audio.

Whiskey Display: A unique feature is the display of 16 whiskey bottles from C.R. Smith’s original private selection, offering a glimpse into the club’s history.

Business Center: The lounge provides ample workspace, including individual booths and open areas with power outlets.

Bar Service: Two full-service bars offer complimentary alcoholic beverages and premium drinks for purchase.

Food

The catering at the Admirals Club is designed more for light snacks than full meals. The self-serve buffet area offers a limited selection of hot options, with tomato ravioli being one of the few warm dishes available during the visit. Snacks and nibbles dominate the food offerings, which may disappoint those expecting a more substantial spread. However, the lounge does advertise paid food options for purchase, providing additional choices for hungry travelers. A permanent avocado toast and guacamole station is a unique feature, making this location the first Admirals Club to offer such an amenity consistently.

Beverages

The beverage selection at the Admirals Club is more extensive than its food offerings. Two full-service bars serve a range of complimentary alcoholic beverages, with premium drinks available for purchase. A standout feature is the six-bottle automatic wine dispenser, similar to those found in some American Express Centurion Lounges. This self-serve option allows you to sample different wines at your leisure. The bars likely offer a standard selection of beer, wine, and spirits to suit most preferences. For non-alcoholic options, the self-serve buffet area includes soft drinks and other beverages to quench your thirst.

American Airlines’ Admirals Club at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a welcome addition to Terminal A. Located on the mezzanine level near gates A7 and A8, this 7,050-square-foot lounge offers a refined escape for travelers.

The club is open daily from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Accessing the lounge is straightforward via stairs or elevator, making it easily reachable for all passengers. The club’s design draws inspiration from local elements, creating a unique atmosphere that pays homage to the surrounding area.

Layout and Seating

The lounge’s open-concept design creates a seamless flow between different areas. A striking double-sided fireplace serves as the centerpiece of the “living room,” surrounded by plush seating options. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer runway views, perfect for plane spotting or watching takeoffs and landings.

Seating choices abound, from bar stools and cafe chairs to soft seating and booth options. High-top tables and a communal table cater to various preferences. The club features some semi-private workstations, though they’re not fully enclosed.

Two phone booths near the entrance provide quiet spaces for calls. A conference room is available for booking through American’s website, though it comes with an additional fee.

Amenities

The Admirals Club at EWR boasts a range of amenities designed to enhance your travel experience.

Power Access: 90% of seats feature wireless smartphone charging pads, while all seats have access to AC and USB outlets, ensuring your devices stay powered up.

Business Center: A dedicated area for work-related tasks, complete with printing capabilities.

Fireplace: The double-sided fireplace in the living room area adds a cozy and welcoming ambiance to the space.

Restrooms: Sleek and modern facilities featuring fully enclosed stalls for privacy and D.S. & Durga soap from New York.

Art Installations: Local nature-inspired art, including a display of Newark cherry blossoms from Branch Brook Park, adds a touch of local flavor to the lounge.

Food

The club offers an improved selection of food options throughout the day. During breakfast hours, you can enjoy Belgian waffles, quiche tartlets, fresh fruit, bacon, and an assortment of pastries. For lunch and dinner, the menu features pastrami sliders, falafel served with cucumber tzatziki, quinoa, kale and edamame salad, and an antipasto salad.

Locally-sourced meats and cheeses are available, along with various desserts including black and white cookies, brownies, and macarons. The food is presented in a small buffet area, providing a step up from the previous offerings of simple snacks and veggies.

Beverages

The full-service bar is a highlight of the lounge, offering a range of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. You can sample the locally-inspired Jersey Tomato Bloody Mary, featuring vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and Jersey tomatoes. Another signature cocktail is the American Trilogy, blending brandy, bourbon, demerara, and bitters.

You can also try the Hopfish IPA from New Jersey’s Flying Fish Brewing. The bar also stocks standard spirits and wines. For non-alcoholic options, La Colombe coffee is available, though sadly not iced. A touchscreen soda fountain dispenses Coca-Cola products, and various teas are on offer.

The Admirals Club at John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA) occupies a prime spot near gate 8 in Terminal A. This second-floor, mezzanine-style lounge overlooks the gates and runways, offering an elevated perspective.

It operates from 5:15 AM to 8:45 PM Monday through Saturday and 6:15 AM to 8:45 PM on Sundays, providing a quiet space away from the terminal. Despite its modest size, the lounge maximizes its layout to accommodate travelers. Large windows allow natural light to fill the space, creating a bright atmosphere.

Layout And Seating

As you enter, the bar is on your left, accommodating seven guests. The buffet area is to your right, offering various food and drink options.

The main room features comfortable sofa-style chairs for relaxation. Dining tables at the back provide space for meals or work.

In the rear of the lounge, a left turn reveals three workstations with computers and a printer, serving as a makeshift business center.

A row of dining-style chairs lines the back wall, providing additional seating during busy times. The layout, though compact, attempts to use every inch of available space.

Food

The Santa Ana Admirals Club rotates its food offerings throughout the day. Breakfast includes bagels, cereal, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal. At lunch, the spread expands to feature BBQ chicken sliders, tortilla soup, minestrone soup, and a selection of salads and cheeses. For dessert, you’ll find cookies, Rice Krispie treats, and mini brownie bites. The buffet, while not extensive, aims to provide a mix of hot and cold options to satisfy different tastes. You can build your own sliders or choose lighter options from the salad bar.

Beverages

A coffee machine dispenses various hot beverages, including tea. The bar serves as the main drink station, offering complimentary house drinks, beers, and sodas. While specialty cocktails aren’t featured prominently, bartenders can likely mix basic drinks upon request.

Food

The Admirals Club offers a mix of complimentary and premium food options. The complimentary selection includes a rotating menu of hot and cold items. Breakfast options might feature items like zucchini tomato egg scramble, oatmeal, yogurt, chilled overnight oats, and hard-boiled eggs.

Later in the day, you can find options such as Korean BBQ beef, brown rice with red quinoa, lentil salad, and cubed cheese. A standout feature is the guacamole cart, offering made-to-order avocado toast or dip, adding a fresh and unique touch to the lounge experience.

If you are looking for a larger meal, a premium menu is available for purchase, featuring items like grilled chicken chopped salad and club sandwiches.

Beverages

Complimentary options include coffee, tea, sodas, and water, with a coffee machine and fruit-infused water available for self-service.

The full-service bar serves house red and white wines and select beers, which are complimentary. Premium spirits and cocktails are available for purchase, with prices ranging from $7 for craft beers to $14 for premium wines.

The lounge also features specialty drinks, such as their signature Michelada beer cocktail. However, some guests have noted that the premium beverage options may not always offer the best value compared to the complimentary selections.

The Admirals Club at GRU boasts a thoughtful layout that maximizes seating capacity while maintaining a sense of comfort. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a smaller seating area featuring decorative elements such as a mirror and sculpture.

The main part of the lounge offers diverse seating options to cater to different preferences. An entertainment zone houses about two dozen seats facing wall-mounted TVs, perfect for catching up on news or sports. Adjacent to this is a large, traditional lounge area with dozens of seats arranged to face one another, each equipped with power outlets for device charging.

For those seeking a more formal setting, a dining area provides tables and chairs, along with some high-top seating. The lounge also features communal workstations, some with PCs, catering to business travelers or those needing to catch up on work. A long bench along the center hallway offers additional seating options, though it may not be the most comfortable for extended periods.

Food

The food offerings at the Admirals Club GRU surpass those at a standard Admirals Club, though they don’t quite reach the level of American’s Flagship Lounges. The lounge features two buffet areas with similar selections, providing a good mix of hot and cold options.

Cold items include an assortment of sandwiches (such as tomato and mozzarella, ham and cheese), deli meats, cheeses, and fresh fruit. For those with a sweet tooth, the lounge offers a selection of desserts, including bread pudding, fruit bowls, mousse de maracujá (passion fruit mousse), and brigadeiro, a beloved Brazilian chocolate truffle-like confection.

While limited, hot food options include items like codfish brandade, cheese bread (pão de queijo), and endives with bacon quiche. The buffet also features two types of soup—tomato and manioc with shredded jerked beef—along with heartier dishes such as ragu with tomato sauce and pumpkin pie with caramelized onions.

Beverages

The Sao Paulo Admirals Club provides a wide selection of beverages to quench your thirst before your flight. For those seeking non-alcoholic options, the lounge offers flavored water, orange juice, and an assortment of soft drinks, including Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Fanta. A Nescafe Milano machine is available for coffee lovers, serving up espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and hot chocolate. An assortment of Twinings tea is also on hand for tea enthusiasts.

The lounge features a selection of complimentary alcoholic beverages, including a variety of wines. While the Don Guerino sparkling wine might not impress, the sparkling rosé is a decent choice. Beer options include international brands like Budweiser, Heineken, and Stella Artois, as well as local offerings such as Itaipava.

A range of spirits is also available for those who prefer cocktails or straight drinks. While the selection might not rival a high-end bar, it provides enough options to satisfy most tastes
