Accor Live Limitless points expire 12 months after a hotel stay, which can be reset every time you earn points from qualifying activities (detailed below).

Previously, only points that were earned from stays were considered qualifying activities. However, Accor updated the policy, so now there’s more than one way to keep your Accor points from expiring.

How To Keep Accor Points From Expiring

You can extend the expiration date of your Accor Rewards points for another 12 months if you have any qualifying activity that earn Rewards points. Unlike other hotel loyalty programs, points redemptions do not count as a qualifying activity.

Below are some examples of qualifying activities:

Accor Live Limitless FAQs

To check the expiration date of your Reward points:

  • Log in to your account
  • Click "My account" on your dashboard
  • Click "Learn more about my Reward points" to see your expiration date

The posting date of your points will depend on the type of transaction you have:

  • Eligible Stays - Points post within 7 days after completing the stay.
  • ALL Meetings & Events - Points posts after full payment of the event.
  • Dining Offers - Points post within 7 days after dining at a partner restaurant.

As of this writing, Accor does NOT sell points. The only way to earn points is through stays, events, experiences, dining, points transfers, and partner merchants.

Bottomline

Accor points expire within 12 months of inactivity which is one of the shortest expiration policies we’ve seen compared to other hotel loyalty programs.

Not to mention, you can only reset your points’ expiration date through earning. Redeeming points do not count as a qualifying activity.

With all that’s been said, you might want to find another hotel loyalty program that has a longer points expiration policy and gives you more ways on how to keep your points from expiring.
